Treasusy Matters is established by Nanette Farwerck-Bergwerf in 2016.

Before starting Treasury Matters in 2016, Nanette Farwerck-Bergwerf spent 7 years working for INTL FCStone Ltd. based in London. She was responsible for developing and marketing the international Payment, FX and Currency Hedging Services (mainly exotics) of INTL FCStone to a new client segment the Social Investors in both Europe and the US. Besides the un-boarding of this new client segment she was also made responsible for marketing the services to the Northern European International banks, Dutch Corporates and the Dutch International NGO & Government sector.

Nanette is the initiator and coordinator of the report “Valutamanagement van de Nederlandse NGO’s” which has been executed by the University of Utrecht and Neyenrode. The report is presented to PARTOS, the association of Dutch NGO’s who work internationally, in October 2012. She is also the initiator of the establishment of the PARTOS Financial Network for CFO’s of Dutch NGOs started in December 2015. This Network organises yearly a number of workshops where financial related topics are being discussed by and with the members.

The 14 years before she has worked for ABN AMRO Bank. In her last position she worked as a general manager within the Global Transaction Services area of ABN AMRO Bank. She is co-founder of  this Global Line of Business within ABN AMRO. Nanette has advised International Wholesale Clients on the structuring of their international cash management organisations. She is widely recognized for her knowledge on this subject and was a frequent speaker at various international conferences. As a strategy consultant she firstly established the European Strategy for Oil and Gas Futures for ABN AMRO Futures UK facing the liberalised European market and secondly she was responsible for the development and implementation of the global B2B e-commerce strategy of ABN AMRO Wholesale market.

Nanette holds a master in Dutch Law and participated the Advanced Management Programme of Insead.
